Wireless Rotation axis button mapping

Post by gaconvn1106 »

I am aware that this question has been asked multiple times before, however I am unable to map any buttons to the rotation axis of my spacemouse as I have never actually coded anything. What I am trying to achieve is to toggle layers in Photoshop CC 2015 (Windows 10, latest 3dxware) by rotation around the Y-axis.

In short I want the puck to register ALT + ] for rotating towards me and register alt + [ for rotating towards the 3Dconnexion logo, preferably with a speed sensitivity as well.

I also noticed that the brush size controls (rotation along the Z axis) are incredibly choppy as it seems to be just a single keypress for a bracket with no sensitivity assigned to the amount of rotation. This causes the brush cursor to revert to the mouse cursor, I think. Anyways the brush changing stopped working for me after a few tries.

Is anyone able to help me with editing the XML files?
