Hi forum,
I am here at a workstation laptop with Windows 10. If I plug the SpaceNavigator into a USB port, it is instantly recognized and installed by Windows.
However, it seems that navigation in Creo/Creo View doesn't work this way out-of-the-box…?
(I made sure that the box for "Use 3Dconnexion devices" is ticked in the Creo settings)
Can someone confirm (or correct?) the fact that it is obligatory to install the 3D connection driver package, in order for SpaceNavigator to work in Creo?
I'm asking because I don't have administrator's privileges on the machine and therefore can't install any software.
Thanks for help!
Cheers David
Will SpaceNavigator work in Creo without driver installation?

Hello David.P,
yes, you need the 3Dconnexion driver software to be able to navigate and have the full button functionality in Creo. No other possibility - sorry. You need your IT to install the sofftware.
