Space mouse - Reverse settings nonsense... + QUICK ACCESS to modes

Post by Czaja »

I have a huge problem for which I can't find a solution.
It happens for me in Revit and Rhino but probably acts the same in other software (Revit case is much worse).

It's all about reversing and changing settings.

In Rhino we can choose between 4 modes - they need to be easily obtained from the radial menu. Each of the modes needs to have the possibility to have its own individual settings. It is especially important that Reverse toggle need to change automatically between modes.

Revit is an even worse scenario. We can choose between
Object mode, Walk Mode and Fly Mode. If I want to switch from object mode to Fly or Walk Mode I need to switch to Reverse on all settings manually! Every time!

This really makes me do not want to use the Space Mouse at all.
Please let me know if you can add this option to the settings.

Sorry for the rough tone, but I'm very frustrated about that.

Are there two issues here?
1) You don't want to go into the GUI to change Navigation Modes? You want to switch using a Radial Menu.
2) You want your changes made in each Navigation Mode to be saved? So next time you enter that mode they are restored.

Yes, that's correct.

Please fix this. Like Czaja said, it's really messing up my Rhino workflow and I don't use the mouse nearly as much as I would otherwise.
