Photoshop CC 2019

Post by stanyork »

I upgraded from PS 2018 to PS 2019 and am trying to reconfigure/reinstall my Space Navigator. It was working in PS 2018. I have downloaded the latest Windows driver for 3DxWare from the support website.

From comparing the installation files and old support posts, the installation structure apparently changed in PS 2018. I found the file 3dxPhotoshop_cc2017.8li in the Plug-ins folder of the Photoshop CC 2018. This tip must have been given to me by someone because I would not have known to try this on my own. Putting that folder into the PS CC 2019 Plug-ins folder hasn't worked. There is no Photoshop CC 2018 or CC 2019 folder structure under the C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxPhotoshop64\x64 location.

Is there a driver which will allow the Space Navigator to work with Photoshop CC 2019 or is one to be released?

Hi stanyork,

yes, the next driver that is planned to be released in the near future - 3DxWare 10.5.12 - will include support for Adobe Photoshop 2018 and 2019. :)

Hello there,
I installed 3dconnexion version 10.5.12. I opened Photoshop and this warning came up. I wrote this shortcut. I come across this warning every time I open Photoshop. Is there a way to shut this down?
