Work with the free version of Solid Edge?

Been using Space Pilots for years and want to know if they work with the free version of SolidEdge 2d drafting software? So far I can't get it to work, and there is no Add-In functionality that I can see anywhere in the free version. On the full package it works fine.

we do not have experience with the free version os Solid Edge 2D Drafting. But the possibility to load addins is essential to get support for the 3Dconnexion devices. If this is not available then I am afraid you won't be able to work with your SpacePilot in Solid Edge.
