I have been using the CadMouse for more than two years. Nice mouse. I just bought another one. The new CadMouse has firmware version 1.05, the old CadMouse has firmware version 1.04. Is there any way to upgrade the old mice firmware to 1.05?

do you see any difference between the two devices? Is there a specific reason why you think you should update the firmware?

No, there is not the noticeable diference. Just think, firmware 1.05 may be better than firmware 1.04.
