Win 10 auto start driver

Post by NicoVB »

Hello,

I have a small problem, but I can not pinpoint where it comes from.
For some time now, The driver does not start automatically when windows starts up.
I always need to go to the menu now and click on "Start Driver".

It used to be different in the past, not sure if I altered settings.
How can I check if windows is loading the driver on startup?

Hi NicoVB,

there should be an entry in the Windows Services. Have you already tried if a new installation of the driver would solve the issue? Proceed as follows:
  • Uninstall 3DxWare.
  • Reboot the machine.
  • Install the latest driver.
  • Reboot.

Ok, i tried following:

Install latest version [v10-5-4_r2703] over previous version.
Then i was able to uninstall everything.
Reboot
Install latest again.
reboot.

Problem is still the same, no autostart.

Hi NicoVB,

could it be that you have an antivirus software running that prevents the autostart?
Do you get a notification in the Event log from Windows?
