B4 "calibrate" joystick , have u create a Laoyut with Joystick Axis ???
even if u don t need a joystick , it s only to try to find what happens.
if u create a Layout , are u sure this layout is the current in use ?
to be sure , turn Off autoswitch , and switch manualy to the desired layout.
u tell me if u turn off my app , Inventor worsks fine, btw my Exe does only 2 things , 1) edit/create layout , 2) switch between them.
The job is done by the driver, exe running or not.
If u got problem when u run inventor, it means u have an active Layout , and probably with "Binds" perturbing the standart move in this app. ie , mouse move or shortcut key going opposing to Space move in the app.
could export ur layout and post it ... so i could look in and search for a "anormal" process.
better way , go to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\RBC9SpaceNavigator\Layout]
and export registry ... post it , so i ll have all ur driver environment.
to test Joystick , doawnload the file "Standart Joystick"
http://rbc.duckinegg.com/
in edit layout , create a new layout, right clic on it and "import"
turn off autoswitch
clic "Apply"
and now , with the systray menu , use "switch Layout" to select this new one.
go to ur game controler manager
go to calibration , clic "reset default" and calibrate. (check the show value checkbox)
Edit : a question , when u try to calibrate ur joystick , is the "Edit Layout" windows closed ? when this windows is open , the driver turn off all information exept the original SpaceNav values , so , no Joystick , no mouse and No key when u have this screen running.
