Sluggish performance CATIA V5 R18 for SpacePilot Pro

I am experiencing very slugging performance when using the SpacePilot Pro with CATIA V5 R18. There is a perceptible delay between giving a command using the 3D puck, and the command getting registered within CATIA V5 R18.

For CATIA V5 R19, however, the interactivity is smooth and it is workable. It isn't workable with R18. Is there a fix or a solution for this problem?

we haven't seen a slugging performance with R18. As the support for the 3D mouse was implemented by Dassault Systèmes you should contact their support.

If you run R18, observe the delay in responding to command input (approx 500 to 700ms), close R18, and then launch R19 SP5, you can tell the difference immediately. R19 SP5 is very fluid and behaves like a normal input device should. R18, with the speed settings adjusted, still has an input delay.
