Pro/E WF2, M210: Buttons open panel instead of function

Hi,

with my new SpaceExplorer the defined buttons do not execute the desired action. Instead the buttons opens the panel window and no action is executed.

Can you help?

Hi duffy6,

you should use the plug-in to map the desired functionalities to the various keys. In Pro/E you have a special menu called 3DxProENGINEER (this launches the plug-in) which configures your 3D navigation device or you can list the content of the help.

Exactly this is the way I did.

But when I push a button nothing happens except the 3d ware panel pops up.

Please help!

Hi duffy6,

Please check the functionality of the buttons with another application (for example Google Earth). Try a button-mapping.

If it works in Goolge Earth, but not in Pro/E WF2, remove your 3DxWare and install it again.

Hi duffy6,

This could be a saved configuration from a previous 3DxSoftware release (if you had a previous device). Open the 3DxWare panel and reselect the default Pro/E configuration while Pro/E is running.
