Driver 3.7.16 with Solidworks 2009 x64 Vista

Yes, the Control Panel is the right place to create these custom functions. But these new custom functions must be used inside of the ButtonMappingEditor (the new Custom Functions will be listed in the "3DxWare Functions" category on the left).

OK. I did find where the custom mapped functions get mapped within the Solidworks panel inside of Solidworks and that does work as a workaround.
