Has anyone heard if the latest driver will work with 3ds Max 2010? Or is the new driver still in progress? I ask because we should be getting 2010 very soon and I'd hate to not be able to use my SpaceExplorer.
SpacePilotPro, SpaceExplorer USB ( Driver 3.17.4 )
Windows 7 64 bit, Core i7, 12GB Ram
Nvidia Quadro FX 3700
3ds Max 2014, Maya 2014, Inventor 2013, AutoCAD 2013, Photoshop CS5

Hi,
As 3ds max 2010 is not released yet we do not know if the current Plug-in will work or how long it will take to develop a working Plug-in.
I personally assume that Max 2010 will work with 3D mice close to the release date.

Hello,
Max 2010 is out (at least for subscription members).
Please is there a time schedule when new drivers with Max 2010 support are going to be released?
I cannot be without my SpacePilot in Max
Thank you for info

Yes zbyss its hard to realise how I miss my 3d device when I can't use it. So 3dconnexion if you need some betatesters for 3dsmax 2010 32 and 64 bit send me a note. I'd like to help.

Max 2010 will be supported soon. Once we have the software ready, it will be made available for download on our web site.

Thank you so much. You really realize how much you love and need your 3d mouse when you can't use it and are forced to do it the old one hand way

malojo, looks like we are both fully dependent on 3d mouse
For me no chance to go back to the "hand way", I count every hour until Max 2010 support is available

Do you have any estimated date other than "soon" as to when the driver will be out? I'm going crazy here without my SpaceExplorer in 3ds Max.

2nd (or 3rd or 4th) the call for 2010 plugin. I can't really upgrade until I can use the 3d mouse.
