SpaceNav Alias. Button configure to hold shift & ctrl

Hi, First time post.
I am just learning to use my SpaceNav with Alias (Vehicle Design Student) and after successfully changing the R button to 'pick no objects' I wanted to change the L button to 'hold shift&command' for the marking menus (with little star in middle). So far I can only get the button to click both buttons but not hold.
Any Ideas?

Also just to add is there a way to swap over the controls for the axes;
i.e. change spin(bend over left/right) to roll(twist)?
