Autocad 2007 screen color changes in Model mode

Post by accuong »

The background color of my Autocad 2007 screen flickers as I use the SpaceTraveler in the Model mode. but not in Layout mode. This is very annoying and makes it hard to focus on the design at hand. Have any of you experienced this?

Please advise.

The problem is caused by AutoCAD switching from 2D -> 3D -> 2D Wireframe every time you navigate. In the 2007 version the default background collor for 3D Wireframe is grey, so thats why you see the flickering. A sollution is to change the background collor to black foor 3D views. You can do this in the options dialog. This will not prevent sellections to be lost, which also occurs.

In other posts, these problems are described also, I myself have a post running with multiple of these questions. But there's probably no answers to them, as I get no replies at all

Please check the SpaceNavigator for Windows Forum, as its more active on matters like these.

I hope I helped you some!
