LED not working?

Post by 3dmouser »

I have my mouse plugged in via usb but the LED Light ring under the part you hold does not turn on like the box shows it. How do I turn it on?

Hello 3dmouser -

With a wireless mouse the LED is designed to turn off to preserve battery power. When it is plugged in and charging the LED turns off after a short time.

We get both opinions on the LED lights - customers who would prefer them to stay on and customers who want them off. The wired devices behave differently than the wireless models since there is not a concern with battery usage there.

Does your LED turn on initially then turn off?

Yes it turns on initially and functions properly. You should add an option in the next software update that allows the leds to always be on, sometimes on, or always off. If other people have noted they want this it would be a nice feature to have.

Thanks.
