Space Navigator - generic key press

I just bought my Space Navigator and I love it! My question is - can I make a profile such that whenever a specific app is in focus SN generates keystrokes to it? That way I can control many more apps, say Visual Studio, Internet Explorer, etc.

I looked at the .scg files and it seems like that should be possible but could not figure out how.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
