blender and space navigator pe

Post by teppink »

can someone post a message with the step by step process to get the space navigator to work with blender and xp. im somewhat new to blender and find all the postings confusing about where to go and what to download. i would really appreciate it because it seems as though i bought this thing for nothing and i really want to use it because it would make my life so much easier.

Blender

Hi teppink,

As the Blender support is in a beta stadium I can't offer you a step-by-step description.

Please read instead this post.

Hi teppink, sorry for the confusion. You have to understand that blender support is at the moment experimental and still a work in progress. That said, many users found the solution that 3Dconnexion and the Blender community jointly worked out pretty useful. So, I recommend you read carefully this thread, as I believe it explains the main issues that people have encountered:

Let me know if you still have issues afterwards.

Blender Build

Post by Terry Garza »

Hey Teppink:

You have to use a special verison of Blender, and it will work ok.
It's at www.blenderbuilds.com. And they explain how to set it up. I just hope they make it work with the new 2.45
