Google Earth always pointing down

Post by philnolan3d »

Recently when using Google Earth (Pro or not) I find that it always wants to point down at the ground. I can rotate to look at the side of a building or something but as soon as I let go it drifts back down again. I asked about this in the Earth support forum and the only response was someone saying it might have to do with 3D Connexion drivers. Has anyone seen this happen? i have the latest drivers installed.

Hello philnolan3d,

I do not see any problems with Google Earth and the latest driver. Which version of GE do you have?

What are your settings in Google Earth -> Tools -> Options -> Navigation -> Non-mouse Controller and Navigation?

Here's a little video showing what happens.

I don't see a way to edit my post. I meant to say I tried all three Navigation settings. As well as turning the check box off.

Hi philnolan3d,

I cannot reproduce the problem at all. :(

Which driver do you have installed?

If you open the 3Dconnexion Viewer do you see any issues with the navigation there? Any drifting?
