Architectural Desktop 2004

Post by ghannigan »

I just installed my Space Navigator and it works fine in C4D & GE.
1. Will it work with ADT 2004?
2. If so, how do I install the software so that ADT finds it?
The 3Dconnexion folder in my Programs folder contains a sub-folder for AC, but no instructions for installing. :?:

WinXP Pro SP2

thanks

please try out the following:
1. Open this link http://www.3dconnexion.com/support/4a1.php
2. select your device,
3. in second window you should find "Archive" (Legacy Software)
4. in third window select "AutoCAD" (pre-2007)
and download this file.
After download install it on your machine.
Now it should work with ADT 2004

Guenter,

Thanks, that did it. What happens when I use the Update Wizard? Will the older AC software be overwritten by the new version?

My main use is in Cinema4D.

George

Disregard above question, I just updated & it works fine. I've been browsing the forum & am glad to see quick responses to users' questions.

Hi ghannigan,

I tested this on my machine and the AutoCAD AddIn (pre-2007) is still there after running the update wizzard.
But, if this is different in any other case, reinstall is done in 2 minutes.
