Can the Space Navigator PE work with SDRC-Ideas?

I'm using EDS-SRDC-Ideas 10NX series M3 on XP-SP2. It seems working fine for a minute or so. Then suddenly, my I-deas session will crashed. any ideas?

Older versions of UGS I-deas are know to have problems with USB devices.
