Maya Input lag with heavy scenes [SOLVED]

If you are experiencing a lag of about 4-7 seconds or so before your scene starts to tumble, try the same scene after unplugging the space pilot.

If it gets back to normal, lag free performance, then just Uncheck "Auto" in the space pilot advanced settings > Rotation Center section after plugging the unit back in
