My spacepilot dosen't works om OSX Maverik and 3DxWare 10

Post by Lapisrap »

Good day to everyone,
i tried to install last version of SpaceNavigator drivers (3DxWare 10 ver.10.1.2) on OSX Maverik 10.9.4.
When i try to connect my space navigator, in Tool section appears:
NO DEVICE FOUND
Firmware 0.00

Can anyone help me?
I have to downgrade the drivers?
What's wrong?
I bought my device 3 years ago.

Thx in adv.
Lapisrap.

Hello Lapisrap -

When we see 'No device found , Firmware 0.0' on the Tools tab it means there is more than one version of the 3Dconnexion software installed.

To correct the problem use the uninstall utility [~\Applications\Utilities\Uninstall 3Dconnexion] to remove the older 3DxMacWare . The uninstall prompts to reboot.

After the reboot , install the current 3DxWareMac_v10-1-2_r1773.dmg - it will prompt to reboot again when the install completes. Open 3Dconnexion Properties to the Tools tab and you should see your Space Navigator recognized. You can use the demos on the Tools tab [3Dx Demo] to make sure the Space Navigator is working outside your applications.
