Space Navigator keeps computer from going into sleep mode
I was wondering why my computer would not go into automatic sleep mode any more and after systematic testing of peripherical devices it boiled down to Space Navigator being connected to the USB port. When I take it off, sleep mode works normal. Since this is a bit inconvenient, as I neither want my computer to run all the time, nor do I want to connect and disconnect the 3D mouse over and over, does anybody have an idea, either what the nature of this problem could be or how I can avoid it? Apparently the SN sends messages of activity to the computer even when not in use. Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I also have this problem. This is clearly a software bug as the LED's shouldn't prevent the computer from sleeping. I've tried many different OS's and drivers. All have this effect. I'm now going to try sleep with the LED's off. I'll post back.

OK,
I just tested the 'Turn off LED's solution." This also doesn't work!
Pleased I found out what is waking my computer. Miffed I have to pull the plug on my 3d mouse!
