Act as 2D mouse

Post by macasas »

Hi, new here, having a hard time finding a mouse that suits my work and doesn't make my arm ache. I want to know if I could use either type of Space navigator as a normal 2D mouse, including the right drivers for Mojave?

Before you all kindly send alternative suggestions, I have already tried vertical mice, semi-vertical mice, joysticks, the RollerMouse, a trackpad, a stylus.

I spend most of my time in Visual Studio Code, double-clicking to select, triple clicking the line select, just normal micey stuff I think. I read that this won't do click and drag, but does anyone use it in place of a mouse, or is it just for using with another mouse, as an added control?

Thanks.

Hi macasas,

no, our devices are designed to be used in 3D, not as a replacement for the 2D mouse. Sorry.
