3dconnexion and NX (Unigraphics)

Hello,

I use NX6 on MacOSX10.5 and my Space Pilot and Space Pilot Pro don't work at all.

Does anyone knows how to fix this problem ?

Dear marco76,

Only the SpaceNavigator, SpaceNavigator for Notebooks and SpaceExplorer USB are supported on the Mac Platform. The SpacePilot and the SpacePilot PRO are only supported on the Windows Platform.

I've fixed the problem with NX6 using this driver:

now my models move fine but I can't still configure the buttons....better than nothing !!!

I'm using NX 7.5.2.5 with the latest 3DConnexion driver 1.6.2 on Mac OS X v10.6.6 Core i7 8GB RAM Macbook Pro. 3dMagellanProxy got the 6 axis portion working, but as above, buttons don't appear to be configurable. The left button is set to freeze zooming and the right button doesn't appear connected to any function. I'm using a Space Navigator, but I've also tried the older Space Traveler, all to no avail. I've added an "NX7.5" app config page to the Sys Prefs control panel, and I've also tried setting the buttons globally using "Any Application", but I suspect something needs to be adjusted in the Proxy.

Any betas that I could try? Any word on if/when this might get fixed? Do any of the newer products function properly? I'd be happy editing some .config or .plist items if they were hard coding the button's functions, just point me to the relevant ones. I believe the Navigator is supposed to be supported in this config, but everything about NX on Mac OS X seems a bit sketchy.

I'm using a SpaceNavigator with 3Dx 10 Beta 10 with NX8.5 on a Macbook Pro/ Mountain Lion.

The buttons are configurable until I startup 3Dx Magellan proxy, which sets them to some sort of default. I cannot figure out how to change the buttons once 3Dx Magellan Proxy is started.

I understand this is Beta software, but any help is much appreciated!
