Allow me to offer my apologies: Driver DOES work in 64bit OS (Snow Leopard). YOU HAVE TO INSTALL WHILE RUNNING THE 64bit KERNEL. That was the mistake we made on the two machines we tested on. They were in 32bit mode at the time of the install, so I'm assuming now, that this forced only the 32bit driver version (or some such thing).
We are running the same rigs as you; MacPros running SL in 64bit and we are usually autobooting the 64 kerner using a cool little app called "K64 Enabler."
