Slow response in Ansa

Post by tosuja » Wed Feb 14, 2007 1:17 am

Hi, my company uses Ansa software (beta-cae.gr). I know that it's not in the list of supported applications, but it works almost perfectly (movement, rotation, zooming...).
The problem is that every reaction is slow. I move the controller and the model on screen keeps moving for a little while even when I stopped moving. It looks like the movement is cached and the view doesn't keep up with movement.

This happens on every our workstation regardless on it's speed (e.g. quad-core Core2Duo Xeon 2.66GHz with nVidia QuadroFX 4500 SLI)

Did anyone experienced (and got rid of) such behaviour?
Thanks for response, Tosuja

Hi Tosuja,

the support for our 3D navigation devices was implemented by the manufacturer of Ansa directly. Please ask BETA CAE Systems for improvement.
