Blender 2.46 amd64

Post by RoboticGolem »

I've poked around, and found an amd64 plugin for blender, but it doesnt seem to work.

Searching here, I've found that the plugin will work if I switch to an older version of blender.

I do understand that this software is alpha, but is there any way to have you release the amd64 version of the plugin for blender? Or at least for blender 2.46?

Does anyone here have a working plugin for 64bit linux and blender 2.46?

I dredged one up, but it doesn't seem to work.

I have the device setup properly, the xcube demo works perfectly. I have performed the button assignments.

When I start blender, I get:

Magellan App Window: 0x3e00002
Magellan Motion Event ID=535
Magellan Command Event ID=538
Magellan Root Window: 0x13b
Magellan Driver Window: 0x3800163
Magellan Driver Window Name: Magellan Window

But the device does not control blender at all. No axis seems responsive.

I see that others have posted similar issues, but the resolution always appears murky. Is there a correct 64bit plugin that I should be using? Are there any other hoops that I need to jump through?
