The driver starts, but the apps dont think so...

Ok, been fighting with this for a few days now. Installed opensuse 10.2. Found out (who knows why) that they tried to depreciate usbfs. I'm sure that went amazingly well. Upgraded my kernel to one that supports usbfs, then messed with the fstab to include it on boot. Awesome. Re-installed the driver, the driver is running. It gives me flak when I try restart the driver saying that its already running, or it cant find a user, depending on how I do it.

I can find it when I look for it, (/class/input/input3) but when I try the xcube demo, or the values demo, it tells me that the driver isnt running. Anyone figure this one out yet?

OpenSuse 10.2
AMD 64x2

Hi RoboticGolem,

it looks as if you ran into the problem "failed to get user". This is a known problem (see here).

We have a beta version of the driver that has a fix for this problem. If you want to have it, please send me your email address in a private message and I will sen the driver to you.
