can 3D connexion customize the Space Pilot

Post by aheisler »

i'm looking to use the SpacePilot for PTZ camera control but users miss the feel of the older PTZ control Joystick. Is there the ability to change the physical Joystick on the device itself while allowing all the functionality to stay intact. They miss the range of motion of the older PTZ controllers.

Hi aheisler:

Our devices have the feel appropriate for a six degrees of freedom sensor, giving the user an effortless 3D navigation experience where he can naturally move through 3D space.

I appreciate that you are looking for a specific feel, and I hope you find a device to your liking that provides that. What we provide is how we want users to enjoy our devices, and what most users tell us is the appropriate experience for how they are designing and visualizing.
