Hi, yes - there are ways around it. Nevertheless - it is a 3d mouse and movement is restricted to 2d. AVOIDING Toggling, clicking, changing between movement , view, rotation etc. was the reason to evaluate a 3D mouse. I don't think that anybody needs high precision when placing a part manually.
