Normally the installation makes an entry in your Startup folder and the driver starts when you log in. If it is running you can see the 3Dconnexion logo in your system tray at the bottom of your desktop right near the system clock.

Hello bbylls, NX5 does not use the ugii_env.dat? Hm, thats new for me. :? You can set environment variables in your system. Use Start -> Control Panel -> System. In the "System Properties" open the tab "Advanced". At the bottom you find a button "Environment Variables".

Hi dom + razer, sorry for the confusion. Yes, Fred is right. The native support in the application is limited to AutoCAD 2011 - not 3dsmax 2011. As 3dsmax is not yet officially released (as far as I know) we do not yet have the plugin for this version. I assume we have to prepare a plugin for 3dsmax...
