I can't get this to work at all. Even in Pro/E, sure the device works....but it's not centering so I get a slow bleed spin going on. Very annoying. If the model is moving although you are not touching the device, then open the '3Dconnexion Control Panel' and hit the 'Calibrate' button. This should ...

Hi Mike, I have not found any records of a similar issue being reported. Generally the following applies: If the SpacePilot displays the 3Dconnexion logo then the driver is not running. If the SpacePilot displays the 'Any Application' configuration, then either the foreground application has not con...

Hi gnbisanz, Ok, I got it: The mouse based pan and zoom tools notice that the model space viewport is locked and automatically switch to the paper space viewport (same as the PSPACE command) before panning/zooming and then back to the model space viewport when finished (same as the MSPACE command). ...

2. Space Navigator does not respect locked viewports in paperspace, and will instead reposition/rescale model geometry from the intended (and locked) values. Could you please explain what exactly the issue is. That the plug-in unlocks locked layers is currently required so that it can navigate the ...

Hi, The screen keeps flikkering black/grey, like switching form 2D to 3D mode. Am I correct in assuming that it only flickers when the device is released? I.e when the movement is initiated the view turns grey, stays grey and turns black when the cap is released which is when the flickering occurs? ...

Re: AutoCAD regen issues
Hi All, ...there is a 2-3 second lag there that does not exist with the mouse pan/zoom. I was hoping for improved workflow here. This indeed seems very long. We are not able to reproduce anything as long as that at the moment: We have tried the 3d house.dwg in 2D wireframe and the top and front view...

Hi Chrisman, The 3D device has two modes of operation in a maya 3D view, depending whether the 'fly' option is checked or not. With the 'fly' option unchecked, the camera is treated as a target camera. In this mode the tumble pivot is fixed in 3d space which only allows the view camera to rotate and...
