mstlouis, I'm not entirely convinced your problem is related to you PC hardware. Have you contacted CNC Software about this problem? Since the 3D Navigation Device implementation has been done entirely by them, you may find a different opinion from them. At any rate, please post your findings here. ...

I haven't heard of this one before. I assume you have tried a different USB port? Is the screen on the SpacePilot malfunctioning at all? Have you updated to 3DxSoftware 3.0.9?

The plug-in for the SpacePilot is only supported on NX 3.0.4 and higher. I assume you are running an older version of NX 3?

Doug, it’s probably best to address this with Ansys as you have done. Ansys has implemented our controllers using the SDK. All functionality issues should be brought to their attention. Please post any updates here.

I'm not sure I follow your question. I'll try to answer anyway...The SpacePilot and SpaceMouse are supported in Maya 7 with 3DxSoftware 2.8.2.

Maya8 drivers are available in 3DxSoftware 3.0 and higher. (For both the SpaceMouse and the SpacePilot.
