The files have been sent. We were able to identify the reason why the plug-ins are not being installed on some systems. The fix will be part of the next Mac driver release.

Thanks to the folks who helped us trouble shoot this.

SpaceNavigator fully supports Photoshop CS4. When you run the driver install, it will place a plug-in into /Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plug-ins/3Dconnexion.

Please check and see if this is there

Cinema 4D requires you enable the 3D mouse before it will use it. You can do this in Cinema 4D using Window->3Dconnexion->3D mouse dialog

If you can integrate the 3Dconnexion framework into your application, you can receive button press events from the device. When an event comes in, you can take whatever action you need to do. In this case fire off a string message.

Once additional support is available, an update will be posted. I also wanted to mention that some of the applications listed do suppor...

Hi Igloo225, The driver installer should have placed the required plug-ins for SketchUp into /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins. I take it they are not there after running the setup. Is your SketchUp installed on the main drive of your Mac or is it in some other drive? I...

The installer will put the 3Dconnexion files in /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/plugins/ Do you also have SketchUp 6 installed on the system? If yes, try temporarily renaming /Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 6/SketchUp/plugins/ to /Library/Application Support/Goog...

Try this. Go to the 3Dconnexion Preference pane in System Preferences and click on the Use Default button on the Advanced and Device tabs. I can't think of a reason why you'd be able to zoom in but not out. Resetting back to factory defaults might clear this up.

You can change the Zoom direction for SecondLife using the 3Dconnexion preference pane in System Preferences.

Another option is to change this in SecondLife itself using their Joystick configuration dialog
