Sometimes after locking and unlocking my pc the driver will not have the profile for Inventor active. So when I try to use the 3D mouse none of the customizations work. Right click on the icon in the windows notification area near the clock on the taskbar. Then you will see the options you are looking for.

You can continue to use the previous version of the driver. I'm using a year old driver with my device because it seems every update breaks something, removes features, or just changes stuff not for the better.

You should be able to calibrate the device by right clicking on the 3Dconnexion driver icon in the notification area of your taskbar and selecting calibrate.

I would either get it replaced through where you bought it if you can or contact the 3Dconnexion support directly. It sounds like you have broken unit.

Go to the notification area and right click on the space navigator icon and click calibrate. Do not touch the space while it calibrates. If that doesn't work either post back or try the support page to try and get it replaced if it's under warranty.

I'd love to see support for the Fanuc simulation programs.

Thanks for posting your fix. I've been annoyed that the new adobe acrobat reader dc that I ended up with didn't seem work with my 3D mouse, but copying that .api file worked.

I don't have that driver version but if your web browser stores your history and you haven't cleared it since you've gotten that driver you might find the download link that way. I have gotten previous versions by using my browser history before. 10.2.1 is the closest version I have a link for. Hope...

I didn't check that but if the plugin was not loaded would the 3D mouse driver of recognized Inventor at and give some Inventor specific options for buttons. I've had the same issue in Inventor where the 3D mouse is not rotating the active window but another non-active window. I believe stopping and starting the driver through the start menu options resolves it (until it happens again).

If anything broke my configurations it would have been during the upgrade. I had zero issues up until I upgraded the driver.
