As previously stated: "In order to use it with 3Dconnexion devices, support for 3D devices would need to be added inside their software. Adding 3D device support to an application is determined by the application developer rather than by 3Dconnexion. We have an SDK [Development Kit] which any s...

Re: Autodesk Inventor -- How to change to helicopter camera
As long as you have the NAVBAR enabled In Inventor, the toolbar will have a cap that looks identical to our 3d device.
Click the arrow just below the cap
It will bring up options for:
Object Mode
Walk Mode
Fly mode
2D mode
Select 3DConnexion properties to make button mapping changes.

Re: 3DConnexion Space Navigator in RDSH/Terminal Servers
Sorry I do not have any info regarding using a RDSH/Terminal server. In order to use the 3Dconnexion devices remotely, the software forwarding the USB output needs to be able to recognize and forward the output from a 3d device. Currently there is only one remote application certified for 3Dconnexio...

Re: Autodesk Inventor -- How to change to helicopter camera
Inventor added the support natively and with the NAVBar active it used to accessible by clicking in the cap in the toolbar. The popup is part of Autocad Inventor it is not 3Dconnexion. Since the new driver was released it is no longer available. I have not been able to find a way in Inventor to brin...

Re: Restrict Axis
Dominant only allows 1 axis at a time
Otherwise select rotations.
This works as a on and off when you click on it.

Re: Restrict Axis
I think your referring to "Dominant" Look in the dropdown under 3Dconnexion.
This limits 1 axis to be working at a time.

Re: 3D connexion issue with Mudbox
Are you adjusting the speed in the correct location? This one overwrites our settings since its part of Autodesk. To open the 3Dconnexion properties, select 3Dconnexion Properties from the" View Cube" menu: Speed Lets you adjust the sensitivity of the controller (for both translation and r...

Re: Catia V5R20 wont work with space navgator in RDP
When a 3Dconnexion device works outside of Catia - such as in the 3Dconnexion Jet demo - but not inside Catia the most likely cause is firewall software preventing Catia from seeing the device .[Start, All Programs, 3Dconnexion, Demo- Jet Demo] Catia recognizes a USB device as a network connection.T...

Re: Windows 8, Google Earth WebApp & Driver
You misread the users question they have an app that is currently recognized with the Beta driver but is not when using the standard driver.
They most likely have been using the Standard Mouse interface which is currently not enabled in the current driver.

Re: Tekla 20 - 3DConnexion - ERROR
Tekla Structures When support for 3Dconnexion devices is added into an application such as Tekla, it is a part of their software rather than part of the 3Dconnexion software. What is required to use your 3Dconnexion device in each application that supports it varies according to the application. Tek...
