"Desktop version 22" stands for "Adobe Photoshop desktop 2022 (v. 23)".

The latest v10.8.12 comes with the 3Dconnexion plug-in for Photoshop that supports the following versions:
versions CS6, CC and CC 2014 to "desktop version 22".

Now update to 3DxWare v10.8.12, as it comes with updated plug-in for 3ds Max.

Try 3DxWare v10.5.6 64bit installer below, it's the same 10.5 major version, install it and then uninstall it.

Start the 3Dconnexion Settings to customise your own buttons mapping.

As for the workbench switch, a simple click on the CATIA v5 application window workbench toolbar should do it.

Have you solved the issue? The advice is to reinstall the operating system. By the way, why you have to uninstall 3DxWare driver v10.8.11 at first?

Well, the tested 3DxWare driver version is 10.8.7, so it is for Windows OS.

Where is the image?

What's your operating system version/edition? Try update the operating system the latest one.

You may send an email to ANSYS support to enquire the specific 3Dconnexion 3DxWare SDK version. It might be the case that ANSYS integrated the 3DxWare API into the software long ago, but didn't update the API to 3DxWare SDK v4.
