Re: Does the driver 10.7 work with Apple Silicon?
I have my M1 Mini since January and my 3DConnexion : old Space Navigator original CADMouse USB Enterprise worked with the latest Beta Driver and a Firmware Update for CADMouse since quite some months under Big Sur. So they should do with a final 10.7 too. Monterey Public Beta was fine too at the beg...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
To use the original CadMouse on macOS 11, you need the latest firmware (version 1.06). More details here . If your CadMouse can be used as a regular mouse on macOS 11 (button clicks work as expected), then you already have firmware v. 1.06. In all likelihood, you have configured your CadMouse diffe...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
However,
Enterprise and old SpaceNav work well.
It is just my original USB CADMouse neither using Macros or Keystrokes
nor recognizing the active App.
Firmware Update ?

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
And no more that sure,
AFAIR
All strange behavior more likely started already with the new Beta Driver Installation
than with macOS Updates .... which I said before.
(I remember that I installed the newest Beta Driver quite late, 1 or 2 days after its release)

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
But from time to time they may do some other unexpected keystrokes like opening new Windows of a Tab Group, but currently they do nothing. This is because I had Safari Keystrokes set to "Any Application" Setting, from the very past where I had no special Safari Setup. And some minutes ago...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
Nevertheless, this morning still no CADMouse side buttons for Safari Forward/Backward. But from time to time they may do some other unexpected keystrokes like opening new Windows of a Tab Group, but currently tehy do nothing. I tried : - switching from keystroke to Macro - unplugging and reconnectin...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
AFAIR that was always the case on Mac.
When I switched the active App and went back to Settings 3DC Driver Settings,
it activated the new active App's Setup.
Not ?
Did I mix up with Enterprise's Display ?

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
Another thing I notice is that both Safari Keystrokes work for my old 3D Navigator.
And - when I use the old Space Nav Tilting to Scroll in Safari,
that worked very much to slow in scroll speed since ever.
But with latest Monterey it is now far too fast

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
Do you also have the latest Monterey Public Beta 11 (?), which seems to be no more that Beta. As you mentioned a previous Public Beta number code 10 (?) As the problem just started with the latest PB, 1-2 days ago. I can try by Macro. Currently I use Keystrokes. Or rebuild a new Safari Setting. But ...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
As Safari always had this strange shortcut combination CMD+ä/ö, I always had my custom Safari Entry for my CADMouse. And i checked it that it was still there, it just did not work - until a few hours ago. (E.g. Firefox worked always out of the box with default settings, like it does with any Mouse b...

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
Bingo, german setup. But it is more complicated. I expected the next day reboot to solve the problems, which did not happen. And today I killed all 3DCon processes in Activity Monitor and restarting by opening Driver Settings, before trying to reinstall - without success. But went on Safari surfing....

Re: macOS Big Sur - Beta Driver Available
I installed the new Beta Driver on my M1 Mini and rebooted. Feels like I accepted 5+ approvals for Settings : Privacy while installing. Nevertheless I quickly had to realize that my CMD+ä and CMD+ö (forward + backward) on my CADMouse Side Buttons don't work anymore. Today, after starting macOS, I lo...

Re: Erratic scrolling behavior from the CadMouse
My problem with Linux and input devices is that I have never seen a hardware with a driver suite, that allows to save difference setups per App. Like being standard on Mac or Win for 3DConnexion, Logitech, ... Basically for any main input device manufacturer - beside some smaller exotic manufacturer...
