SPP not working with official driver
usually I always use the beta driver on all my systems, but recently the joystick emulator gave me problems when I tried to assign my Saitek X52 joystick to a racing game. So I did a clean install of the latest official driver (3-17-6 r1586, on W7 64-bit, no Service Packs), following the steps genui...

Re: SpacePilot Pro Config Backup
yes, there is a method. The one I have here is a few years old, but I believe it still applies to modern versions of 3dsmax: If you are using the same device with the same driver version on the same platform you can try the following: A) Exit 3ds Max B) Stop 3DxWare driver C) Open the registry and n...

Re: 3DxWare64 10.0.15 - Fehler

Re: 2 Controlers on 1 computer?
I've been using the beta drivers for some time, and I have 4 devices, but I actually never really used two devices at the same time. I use one with one hand, and a pen (for graphic tablet) or mouse with the other hand. I was very glad when the driver allowed multiple devices, but in the end I couldn...

the replacement device arrived at my place, and I didn't even had to pay for the shipping. The new SPP has a perforation on the ctrl button, just like I did myself on my old SPP using a hot needle, and perforations at the end of each short/long-press button. Also, the LED ring seems to have a better...

3Dconnexion is great!
not so great is the fact that my Space Pilot Pro (or short: SPP) stopped working about half a year ago, and that all attempts to reset or fix the device failed. But, and this is a big one, 3Dconnexion provides a 3 year warranty for their devices! Yes, 3 years. This is huge in my opinion, I can't rem...

try the Cube3D demo and pull up the sensitivity to the highest level. Can you see more than just some pixels changing? no, not one pixel. No movement at all. I must set the sensitivity with the mouse, the buttons of the SPP don't work. Just to check the device: can you please connect it directly to...

I also find this case interesting. And challenging. :) The SPP was attached to a hub for about two years (don't remember exactly, but for a relatively long time). Installed with the latest beta driver as soon they became available. Worked without problem and improved my workflow with all sorts of ap...

the driver is running, and the device is directly plugged to the machine. I pressed the Menu and Fit buttons before plugging in several times, with reboots, on several machines running W7 64- or 32-bit. I did clean installs and tried both the official and beta driver. It looks like the device cannot...

When a SpaceNavigator is working then stops unexpectedly, you can usually restart it this way : Unplug the SpaceNavigator Hold button #1 and button #2 down on the SpaceNavigator While holding the buttons, plug in the device wait about 15 seconds release the 2 buttons then start the driver. [Start, ...
