in a session, working normally, suddenly all axis got reversed after selecting an object. So I opened the driver GUI to change that, but it did not help. The movement was still reversed. So I changed the driver to how it was before, and the movement was again correct. However, the mouse did not reac...

I know, I know. :)

Developers are humans too, so we have no other choice than to wait. Let's enjoy what we already have and focus on our work.

I think we must use it in one mode only. Sometimes I get the impression that developers work hard, but don't really use what they are developing. They work hard to fix all those little bugs, but sometimes fail to see the big, obvious error. For the user it can be very strange to discover errors that...

firewall is disabled, and IE is allowed to show content of any kind. I think there is no obvious, logical explanation. I have two netbooks and had several installations on them (XP, Vista, W7), and they always behaved differently than a laptop or PC. I could write about all those details, but to sum...

Internet Explorer works. I forgot to say that the OS is Windows 7 x86, I think .NET 2.0 and higher is installed already. It must be some other software or plugin that is missing, and I don't know which one. It's a system error, not a driver error. I have an old installer for Flash player, but it is ...

3dxHome.exe fails to start

on my netbook (Aspire One), 3dxHome.exe fails to start. The error windows says: the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. This happens also with welcome screens of other programs. What resources do I need? Flash player? Shockwave player? Air? Seco...

correction: I can change the center of rotation on the surface of an object. I always tried outside of an object.

no. Still the same, MMB does pan the view (using the latest 3-11-3 driver). It is not possible for me to manually set the center of rotation.

I love the hardware, but I'm sure as hell telling everyone I know that it's a pointless waste of money now. I just wish someone had told me that before I'd bought one. strange, I tell people the exact opposite - as long as they work with 3D applications and Windows OS. If people don't work with 3D ...

yes it does. Thank you for pointing that out. And sorry for not searching hard enough. 'Lock Horizon' is much more telling than 'Disable Rolling Filter', that's a good change of terms.

oh, yes. I was - maybe wrongly - assuming it was about the SpacePilotPro. The term 'LCD' I refer to the SPP, while with the SP I say 'display', not LCD, although they are both LCD's.

thank you Fred. Another issue are the axis directions. The earlier driver directions were correct for me (push knob to the right = camera pans right, push knob down = camera pans down, etc.), and in the new driver all axis are inversed. One can change this in the driver GUI and tick the 'reverse' ch...
