I installed the latest beta driver this morning. Sorry to report that it didn't change anything in Maya. The viewport glitches and crashes are still happening.
I don't notice a difference compared to yesterday with the previous driver.

We're seeing others reporting crashes in Maya. I suspect it is related to what you're seeing. We're trying to reproduce this in-house. Good to know I'm not the only one :) It's a known issue if you are trying to use a modifier with a mouse button or action. It should work fine in a keystroke action...
