Re: SpacePilot PRO letter assignment shortcut
Hello rookiee - Yes, you can map a single letter by typing directly into the button field in the 3Dconnexion Properties button assignments. If your application shortcut is an 'S' for instance , type the 'S' next to the button you want to map the shortcut to. If your shortcut has more than one letter...

Re: space navigator for windows 10
Hello bp9 - Did the installer complete successfully? You can use one of the demos like the Jet Demo to check that the Space Navigator is working outside of your applications. You can open the Jet Demo shortcut from All Apps or do a search for jet.exe. What is the application you use the Space Naviga...

Re: SpaceMouse won't remember keys!
Hello redhat - The options from the 3Dcontrol toolbar in the 3DxSoftware driver are located in 3Dconnexion Properties - Advanced in the current driver. In the 3DxWare driver the pop-ups and toolbars have all been moved to the 3Dconnexion Properties window so that all of the options for your 3D mouse...

Re: Windows 10 driver and Chrome
Hello bflorac - When a new driver version is installed the custom profiles remain in the AppData path - normally intact - but in this case it sounds like something has happened to the Chrome profile. To clear it, unplug the Space Navigator then locate the Chrome.xml in the AppDat path. It is usually...

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Hello ship69 - In Camera mode you do see the navigation reversed - the model moving to the left when the cap is moved to the right. If you think of the device cap as a camera that you are moving to the right, it makes sense when the model moves to the left. You mentioned you've compensated for that ...

Re: SpacePilot Pro unwanted actions
Hello dabad531-
For applications like Maya ,3DsMax and Softimage there is an 'Autokey Animation' option that moves the slider .
What's the application you are using ? If it is one with an 'Autokey Animation' option you would disable it in 3Dconnexion Properties - Advanced.

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Hello ship69 - I also want to check which driver version you are using. Is it the current 10.3.0 version here ? You can check in 3Dconnexion properties - About. 3Dconnexion developers have been working with OnShape's developers for the integration into their cloud-based software. Details we can gath...

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Hello ship69 - Once OnShape is open it is acting as a separate application from Chrome. In order to have the OnShape settings and button mapping available , OnShape has to recognize a 3D mouse is present - that allows the OnShape profile to load in 3Dconnexion Properties. A delay in the profile swit...

Re: How do I rotate in turn-table mode? (using Onshape)
Hello ship69 - You've already found the right location for working with the options specific to your Space Mouse Wireless in 3Dconnexion Properties. In OnShape the support for 3D devices is built into the application by its developers and there are navigation options inside OnShape. For navigation s...

Re: unattended installation 3DxWare64_v10 (v10-0-20_r1721)
Hello Mr.Goose - The difference in installing from the .msi files and setup.exe is that 3DxWinCore64.msi installs only the basic driver. Each of the plug-ins you plan to use has to be installed manually from it's .msi file. Setup.exe installs the driver package including the plug-ins and has the opt...

Re: Problem "Unable to load an 3DxService.dll resource DLL
Hello rsantos2005 - Are you installing the 3DxWare V 10.3 driver from the downloads page ? Make sure the installer is downloaded to your local PC rather than running from a network resource and that applications are closed. If there has been a driver from the older driver series installed [3DxSoftwa...

Re: Space Navigator not working in 2-D mode
Hello thetrad9 - It sounds like your edited desktop.xml may have been overwritten with the default version. A standard un-install and re-install of the driver doesn't make any changes to your saved profiles. The default profiles are installed to the ...3DxWare\3DxWinCore\Cfg folder in your Program F...

You can experiment with turning axis directions on and off using the Viewer in 3Dconnexion Home or in other applications wher...

Re: Programming Buttons
Hello The error indicates a mis-match between driver and application versions. SolidWorks 2015 requires 3DxWare 10.2.9 or 3DxWare 10.3.0. You can check your driver version in 3Dconnexion Properties under 'About.' The possibilities are that either you have an earlier 3DxWare version installed or that...

Re: SpacePilot in MAX2016?
Hello Mike Truly - Since the Space Pilot is working in Max and the plugin files are not in your Max folders - that does suggest the 3DxWare installer tells 3DsMax where they are.The Max plugin.ini allows custom paths and should have a 3Dconnexion entry. With the 3DxSoftWare drivers when a manual ins...
