Re: Space Navigator as Final Cut Pro Jog/Shuttle wheel?
if you can navigate with arrow keys (or any key command) in the software, there is an option to map key commands to the different axis or one single axis. In Windows, go to C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxWinCore64\Cfg and open KeyboardTemplate.xml* with notepad++ or other text editor. Copy ...

Re: 3DxWare stopped unexpectedly
this problem occurred also on my workstation after updating to version win 10 LTSC 1809. From what I can tell, it has to do with the xml's. The 'settings import' doesn't seem to work as before. The solution is to manually replace, or delete the respective xml (always save your xml's manually before ...

Re: Space Navigator 3d mouse to work as MIDI
I also think that using the official driver with joystick mode, together with a Joystick-MIDI converter, is the better option. I think that I used RBC9 for a while, and Space Navigator as MIDI controller, but I don't remember anymore. I don't think the Space Navigator is a good MIDI controller anywa...

Re: Space Navigator 3d mouse to work as MIDI
to stop the driver, there should be an entry in the 3Dconnexion Start Menu, 'Stop 3DxWare'. Maybe it works after that.

Re: KVM
Space Pilot Pro and Space Mouse Enterprise work well with a KVM. You just use one of the KVM's general USB sockets, not the mouse or keyboard socket. The one I use at the moment is a Aten CS1764A. For two monitors I used two KVM's, but now only one, leaving the second monitor for one computer only.

Re: config.XML
creating custom sim/game profiles is most always a case of starting with the joystick template, testing, adding key commands, testing, and so forth. It is quite impossible to do it correctly the first time. Even more impossible for others who don't know the sim/game. Take a look at this advice at th...

Re: help my space navigator has a skin disease....... serious!
sorry to hear and see such damage. I can only guess that it may have something to do with hot climate or high humidity. Because I have two Space Navigator devices from the first batch, soon after they were available. Can't remember the date, but they must have been fabricated with the old formula. B...

Re: Knob custom settings.... HELP PLEASE
these commands are not officially supported because these are 3D devices for 3D applications. But I hear your help call. Myself I enjoy using these 3D devices for video applications a lot. Do a search in this forum for games, or in the beta forum for key stroke commands to axis. It's all described t...
