Re: "SketchBook Pro"
I do not use SBP, but quick googling suggests that it does not support free rotation like a 3d modeling program would, but it can rotate the canvas in small steps with key-presses. So you would need to edit the profile for your device, so that when you are using SBP, turning the controller left and ...

Re: Treiber ignoriert Blender
I have read that the 3Dconnexion driver has problems recognizing Blender's GUI as the active application, because it is not a standard application 'window'. A possible work-around is to open Blender's 'System Console'. Bringing the console to focus should let the driver recognize it and start workin...

Re: SpacePilot (NOT PRO) is detected as SpaceNavigator
The driver -IS- identifying your device as 'SpacePilot', but what you are seeing is that your old SpacePilot is not supported by the 10.2 driver.
In fact, if you go to the driver download page, and search for MacOSX drivers for the old SpacePilot, there are NONE.

Re: Spend a whole lot delivers none
ZBrush has no support. Pixologic has thus far been non-responsive (putting it lightly) to customers wanting 3d mouse support. There are many posts on both this and pixologic's forums going back to 2007, about this problem, so it should not be that surprising. Blender, on the other hand, has had buil...

Re: need help with blender plugin
You make your changes, then go to User Preferences and select 'Save User Settings' at the bottom left. It it possible that previously saved projects will overwrite these settings, so be sure to untick the 'Load UI' box (lower left of the 'Open' dialog) before opening the file. Then immediately resav...

Re: need help with blender plugin
The 'Blender plugin' is only used on the old Blender 2.4x series.
The lasted versions of Blender have support built in.
You only need to run the 3Dconnexion driver or spacenav in linux.

You are not alone.

Unfortunately, so far Pixologic has been unwilling (bordering on open hostility) to incorporate such support.

Considering the original post containing that ftp access info is over 7 years old, I would be surprised if it were still valid.

I dont believe they are ever meant to be repaired.
Not easy to disassemble, and not much for user-servicable parts inside.

Re: Sketchup controls similar to Google Earth
You're wasting my time, and yours. Only because you chose to remain ignorant. The equivalent would be that a new game you bought runs slowly on your computer, and complaining to Dell (or whoever) do something about it. That's complete bullshit, since this is exactly not what I do but what you want ...

Whatever. It is my job to pay for the product, and to file bugs. You are free to do so, I am just trying to explain to you that your anger is misdirected. It is the manufacturers job to fix them. I don't know and care what a SDK and a plugin is. I need my product to work for the money, and that's i...

If it were a 3DConnexion plug-in for GoogleEarth, then sure... but it is hardly 3DConnexion's job to fix another company's poor implementation of their SDK.

PS: If you guys won't get off your backsides and make the controllers compatible with more applications or games in general, which it is not cause the only driver that emulates other controllers out there can only track 2 axis at a time, those of us coming to you demanding it will go to other compa...
