Yeah, we also see the same performance drop when you keep the script console open. We're looking at possible solutions to this. For now, try to keep the console closed if it's not being used.

SpaceNavigator is still a HID device and should be visible to systems that are looking for a multi-axis controller. You may want to confirm what types of HID devices SC is looking for.

Thanks butler for digging deeper into this. We do have a machine that is case sensitive and it builds fine there. I'll reconfirm this and do some more investigation as well.

Another option is to start a new project and just include the sample files into it to rule out some kind of project ...

The crash you're getting is coming from the gcc compiler. Try upgrading to the latest release of Xcode. You can also try disabling distributed builds if that's on.

The import line actually should be: #import <3DConnexionClient/ConnexionClientAPI.h> Your version of the code might have been modified by someone else. You can try getting a fresh copy from the SDK download area. If this does not work, then check the path of the 3DconnexionClient.framework in the pr...

Usually when a crash like that happens, a crash report log is generated and the next time you restart, the OS will ask you to send it to Apple. If you see this, do a view report and send us the data. You can also grab all of the crash logs in your ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter folder I'll send you a ...

Thanks for reporting this to us digitalmind. I have confirmed the issue and we'll fix them shortly. In my case, selecting a single axis mask actually disables all axes.

It's possible the 3DxPhotoshopCS3.8li was not installed. Check your Adobe Photoshop CS3\Plug-Ins directory for the presence of 3Dconnexion\3DxPhotoshopCS3.8li. Are you running an English version of Photoshop or some other language? We've seen installations wherein Photoshop incorrectly sets the regi...

Our Windows and Mac drivers install the released version of the Photoshop plugin when you run the installer.

I saw you posted also on the Windows forum. Let's pick-up the discussion on that thread

Hi Simon, Running Maya 7.0 on dual G5s should be fine. One of our test machines has a very similar setup and I just reconfirmed that performance on it is good. If you have your Script Editor window open, please close it and then try it again. Having the Script Editor window does tax the system and s...
