Re: 3ds max 2020 Navigation Mode is broken
The driver version I used was the latest at the time of posting. 3DxWare 10.6.4 3DxWinCore 17.6.4.16911 SpaceMouse Pro (FW: 4.34) 3ds max 2020 SP3 Windows 10 Pro x64 The overall navigation experience has been improved significantly. They've implemented some kind of smart proximity algorithm which wo...

3ds max 2020 Navigation Mode is broken
Hi dev team. Unfortunately, there's another bug in the last release, although the new camera movement algorithm is very very good! Nice job there really, was dreaming of this for years! Anyhow, here's how to reproduce the nav mode bug. Set the navigation to Camera Mode (my default one). Working good...

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
I remember running the driver installation file and selecting Uninstall with remove all settings. Make sure you are running 3ds max with admin rights. Disable all potential conflicting apps in the background like antiviruses, keyboard managers etc. Try to rollover to the last working version of the ...

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
The only possible reason for the driver to shit around while updating is an open version of 3ds max in the background. Although I haven’t checked that, but it should be the case I think. If you haven’t made a full conf export from the last working version you have no other way than recreating it I s...

3ds max viewport navigation variable speed workaround
I have been struggling for a long time with the way my spacemouse pro works in 3ds max in terms of it kinda takes into account the size of the object I zoom extended to and changes speed of navigation after that. So I made a very simply but effective workaround for that. I thought somebody would fin...

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
after doing the full clean uninstall - did you successfully import your old settings ? or did you have to recreate all the settings ? I have had no luck so far - but been too busy to really try. I have successfully imported the settings exported from the 10.5.6 version of the drivers. Although that...

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
Ok, I have finally managed to apply my exported settings to the last driver. But I had to do a full clean uninstall of the previous one, loosing couple of hours of working time doing that and trying to figure out what the heck was the problem, which is obviously a bad situation to experience. Smooth...

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
Why should I even bother migrating my previous settings to the updated driver to begin with? This is a very serious problem, please take measures!

Re: drivers for 3dsmax
This settings migration bug is super annoying! It's not the first time I regret trying to import my setting from the old driver with no luck whatsoever! The most shocking was the discovery of what it's really inside that exported settings from the old drivers. I opened that 3dxz file and the xmls in...

Re: numpad for dimension input
I think there is nothing better you can do than assign ' and " signs to separate keys or to a radial menu.

Re: Radial menu question/suggestion
Sorry, it was obvioulsy a silly question. Pointing cursor over the corresponding arrow in the radial menu activates command without any delays. Just geetting used to it

Radial menu question/suggestion
One thing that really annoys me (among not so many) - half a second transition which takes radial menu to appear on the screen on button press. It doesnt fit to my overall workflow with really fast button pressing etc. If there is a way to change that parameter through XML cfg or something - please ...
