Re: Spacemouse enterprise newbie
to my knowledge the alt+F4 command is not possible with 3dx devices. The same with win-key combinations. Some programs can be closed with the ctrl+q command. To directly launch a program isn't possible either (again, as far as I know). But you can try to assign an exotic key command to a shortcut, l...

Re: Disable Cad Mouse Buttons
for buttons I want to leave blank I usually create a macro, with the numpad "-" key. Both for name and key command. This has worked well. If one accidentally hits such a button, in general nothing happens, at least nothing serious. It is an old feature request of mine to have a blank butto...

Re: Few suggestions...
yes that would make sense. Not very important in my opinion, but a bit easier to create lots of custom macros.Magic Man wrote: Put the New Macro option at the top of the list of macros so you don't have to scroll all the way down each time.

Re: Spacemouse Enterprise: Toggle mode, key profile
great stuff. Will try this out. Also, notepad++ is a good idea. The following two actions are probably the other way round. Or are they correct? <Action>Prev</Action> ; Go to the next ButtonBank in the list in the cfg <Action>Next</Action> ; Go to the previous ButtonBank in the list in the cfg file....

Re: Spacemouse Enterprise: Toggle mode, key profile
it is not an issue really, but I'm interested in switching button banks and hierarchies. This is rather a new thing to me. As you probably know, I'm not familiar with coding, therefore I'm a bit slow. What I've gathered is that when entering key/macro commands, there is always a key press and key re...

Re: Support for more than one product of the same type...
off topic, I also like DAZStudio 4.9 (beta). With Iray GPU rendering supporting recent Geforce cards, it is just fun to quickly test render obj and fbx files with such speed.
And with full support for 3dx devices. A very good combination.

Re: Support for more than one product of the same type...
It's just a UI issue. 3DxService has no problem with it. There is a place to store the "unique device identification" information in the cfg files (but no I haven't implemented it yet). so if I understand correctly, it wouldn't be as difficult as I presumed. Next to the device identificat...

Re: Things I would like to see changed/implemented
You can change the icons displayed in the GUI. They are named in files you have access to. this is good news. What I found is the sp3.lcdcfg.tiff in %appdata%/local/3Dconnexion/3DxWare/Cfg. This tiff gets overwritten every time one switches to another application, is that correct? Now we just need ...

Re: Support for more than one product of the same type...
in that case you probably won't use two Navigators on one computer, and probably don't wish to do so anymore. You likely will use Enterprise + Navigator on one machine, and SPP + Navigator on another machine, if dual 3dx controlling is what you need. General thoughts about using multiple devices: er...

you won't be disappointed. The SpaceMouse Enterprise combines the advantages of the SpacePilot and the SpacePilot Pro, two very good devices.

Re: Spacemouse Enterprise: Toggle mode, key profile
it is. And it does happen, very rarely, that modifier keys get stuck, where the modifier key release command is somehow lost, probably while switching between applications. Such a situation can be very bad.jwick wrote:Having a key modifier stuck down is generally very bad in other apps.

Re: Spacemouse Enterprise: Toggle mode, key profile
The key is the CurrentButtonBank element in a Device. This indicates which ButtonBank is being used at any time. You can create as many ButtonBanks as you want in the Device, then modify the CurrentButtonBank entry to point from one to the other. You can then assign a script to a device button to m...

I'm pretty sure it is aware of them individually the driver (service) obviously is because of what you say about the calibration process, but when you take a look at the profile xml, you see that there's one entry for one device only. I guess it would need a rather complicated rewrite of the driver...

Re: 8-sided radial menu
I'm sure the designers were discussing this, and decided to have 4 options in the radial menu. I think it was the right decision. On the other hand I wouldn't say no if the user could select between 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 options. Maybe even 9 and 10 (especially for the SpaceNavigator that has only tw...
