Re: SpacePilot driver stops working
The SP still works with the current release. It just has a greyed out picture and a "discontinued" label. We don't test the discontinued devices. Things might break as time goes on. Last I checked, the SP still worked fine. But it is getting pretty old. Tell the download page you have a S...

Never mind, I found it in the other thread on the topic.

Re: System Volume control
I believe you can add three ButtonActions to your cfg: You can also set those in a global cfg which will assign them to those buttons regardless of which application is in focus. If you have a device with lots of buttons it is ok to consume a few of them. @jwick I'm revisiting this, because somethi...

Re: SpacePilot driver stops working
Hi Dave, It could be that the driver crashed. You should have a message in the log file. Turn on logging (systray) and email your log file to me the next time it happens. Being 3.16.3, there is nothing I can do about it, but I might be able to tell you what went wrong. Can you upgrade to 3DxWare 10...

SpacePilot driver stops working
I have an older Space Pilot, on a windows 7, 64bit machine, running driver version 3.16.3. Sometimes when I quit using NX, the SpacePilot screen will continue to show the NX options, and is essentially dead. Driver won't stop or start, or at least gives no indication. I've tried the SpacePilot reboo...

Re: CADmouse jittering
Solved.
A second mouse was plugged into the workstation, and sitting on top of a cd/dvd.

CADmouse jittering
We just installed new CADmouse devices in our design office. On one workstation, the mouse cursor moves, or jitters when the mouse is not touched. On my workstation, it is rock steady. The only difference we can see, is mine has firmware v1.03, and the jitter mouse has firmware v1.04 Any thoughts on...

Re: SpaceMouse Pro, behaving badly
Solved it. Somehow I deleted a "\" in: UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY=${UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR}\${UGII_VERSION}\startup\3DxNX.dll I was editing some other things in the company NX .env file on friday, and some how managed to remove a slash, and just like G'n'R, it just doesn't work without a slash...

SpaceMouse Pro, behaving badly
We have one user who's SpaceMouse Pro doesn't like to behave when using NX, but this statement comes with some caveats. Basically, none of the buttons do what they are supposed to, most of the time, when running NX in a Teamcenter managed session. He switched to a native session, and everything was ...

Re: Mute button with SpaceMouse Pro
Where is the .cfg stored? in my local user profile? Side note, is there a way to store the profile on the network, so no matter what workstation I log into, my 3dx device will work the same? We use NXcustom (NX geeks will be familiar with it), to store all of our NX related history, and user setting...

Mute button with SpaceMouse Pro
I use NX for cad modeling, but would like to map one of the numbered buttons on the 3D motion controller, or one of the zoom buttons on my CADmouse, to "mute" the windows volume (maybe even a radial pop up?). I know I've done this before, with an older SpacePilot, but I don't see the optio...
