Is there a way to "lock" a certain camera so it won´t react to the SpaceNavigator and still use the camera as an active view?

The only way I know is to tick "Suspend Motion" in 3Dx Control.

tritt das Problem auch auf wenn Du in den 3Dconnexion-Einstellungen "Auto rotation center" deaktivierst?

The Plug-in for 3ds Max does not use the "profiles" (scg-files) - it uses the registry instead (see also my previous post).

Have you tried using the latest Mac driver (1.5.7)?
